@Assimilateur: That's no plants and trees, not crops. As long as the ground is muddied, crops should grow fine.

Well, Duke was rather clear in his phrasing about crops not growing there, not just aboveground plants. I guess he must have been wrong then, or phrased what he was going to say wrongly.
