Eh, I know nervous injury.  No brain damage yet, but let's just say three of my dwarves have had to make involuntary and permanent career changes to marksdwarfship.  Incidentally, I currently have 5 other bedridden dwarves.  Stupid idiots obviously can't handle the iron weapons (or, since several injuries occured when they were still wrestlers, their own bare hands).

Sparring without brain damage -> Wild dragon appears -> Hit in head with hammer, brain injury, stops sparring -> everyone LEGS IT to fight dragon -> Onul comes in later to badass-ly defeat taxation forever
