Now this one:

Code: [Select]
  XXXXXXXXX
  XXX  0  XXX
  XXX  X  XXX
  XXX  X  XXX
         X            L
XXXXXXXXXXXXXX

The rock column underneath the support is now unsupported and will collapse. I think. Either than or my computer is failing to display this stuff properly.

He only shows x and z. I don't know if the wall on the same level with the lever is on a diagonal point or on cardinal points w.r.t. the 2-tall column.

That one broke.

It was supposed to be a stone pillar with a support on top of it supporting the big upside down "U" shaped mountain.

Then this would happen:
Code: [Select]

  XXX      XXX
  XXX      XXX
  XXX      XXX
  XXXXXXXXXXXX           L
  XXXXXXXXXXXX

Then this would happen:
Code: [Select]

  XXX      XXX
  XXX      XXX
  XXX      XXX
  XXXXXXXXXXXX           L
  XXXXXXXXXXXX

well, except that center pillar where the support was would be higher.

skele: it's pretty simple. when solid rock collapses, each individual tile falls downward until it lands on top of other solid rock, ignoring whatever it's connected to horizontally (see my last post on page one)

Well then, what about THIS:
Code: [Select]

    L
XXXXXXX  XXX
XX           XXX
XX  XXXXXXXX
XX       XXXXX
XXXXX     S  X
XXXXXXXXXXX

Wow, this one broke the most...

Nothing changes due to that right-most tile of rock.

you have to count the -number- of spaces you're using if you want to draw with them :p

that one doesn't collapse at all, as long as there's a single tile connecting a structure to solid ground in one of the 4 compass directions, or straight up or down, it won't collapse

Your FPS will be like this, as well:

Code: [Select]
   000
  0   0
  0   0
  0   0
   000

Haha.

Hmm... Ok. I suppose this is all good to know. I was basically planning on doing an Equaland/World Domination challenge on the most recent map I started (still in the planning phase & haven't unpaused). I was hoping to collapse the mountain so Fearless Leader's tower would be the only thing dominating the land. I suppose I'll have to change plans.

Mass carve ramps. Thats the fastest mountain leveling strategy available.
