I think the nobles need a new 134 z-level waterslide

777X__--H_
                 I_
                    I_
                       I_
                          ...
7=water
X=floodgate triggered by
--=pressure plate
H=nobles bed
_=floor
I=wall

This is assuming a 1z level fall does even minor damage (if not replace with a 2 z level fall)

bonus points  if he's naked

extra bonus points if he survives multiple trips

extra extra bonus points if you set the nobles bed to the barracks so he's placed there to heal (and goes down the slide again)

What is this HSF that keeps being mentioned? I get it's somehow related to 'Other Feautres' and demons thing...

It's a secret rock formation sort of thing inside the mountain. Don't look it up, though. It's much funner to find out by yourself what it is. You'll probably know it when you see it.

While I won't give you any specifics, I will give you a hint.

well, that was a bit more than a hint. If he's read LOTR, then he's most likely gonna guess.

it's HFS, not HSF.

Or the dwarf related acronym, Hidden Fun Stuff, which unleashes the HFS that stands for Holy Fu****g S**t.

it's actually HFS and it stands for Hidden Fun Stuff. you'll know why when you find it. and by Armok, you will KNOW when you find it.

I like to call it HOLY FU***N S**T though.

Due to this one fort. I guess most of the people that DIDN'T spoil it will call HFS that.

My advice would be to NOT spoil it for yourself.

The problem with not spoiling it is that if you don't, you probably don't know what to look for, and will probably never find it.

Yah, it sounds like minecraft with content, you have obviously missed the point, people dont like content, they like different coloured blocks.
Seems to work fine with my copy. As soon as I loaded the human caravan came by and the world burst into fire.

I've deleted several posts.  You're welcome to try again, at least those of you that are still here.

edit:  To clarify, it didn't involve spoiling HFS or anything like that.  Unrelated bigot bullshit.

Thus spaketh the Toad!

All hail Hypno-Toad!

anyway...

I loved the idea of a "super happy fun slide" for the nobles...

You see, booze is a parasite. It lives off dwarves and compels them to dig into the ground so as to create massive defences to protect it's self. It really shouldn't be called dwarf fortress, Booze fortress would make much more sense.
