I was actually expecting a full page of wounds.  This is a step up in comparison.  Pity dwarves can't work while imprisoned.

I had a mayor who was married to a fortress guard. Goblins came, dwarfs died. Surviving dwarfs bitch to mayor. Mayor tantrums.

So I lock him into his quarters, with his wife.

Next thing I see is the mayor lying in bed with cracked skull. Domestic abuse in Dwarf Fortress!

After looking at this... I wonder if it's possible for the Hammerer to fall in love with someone, then upon the failure to fill some uptight noble's demands, is forced to hammer them to death. Tough love?
