I've been beaten to death with my own sock by an Ettin. It sucks because I was about to kill him.

I had this happen too...My sock made my lower body explode in gore

It's a bit unrelated, but this morning I was strangled to death by the wolf. By his rear leg...

You know, it's cool. The animal tries to bite you but you block all the strikes laughing. Then it rises it's rear leg... And you're suffocating.

There were times when a wolf raising its rear leg over your head, you tended to close your mouth. Perhaps thats what happened?

I've not been beaten to death with an appendage or anything before, but playing as a modded character, I grabbed the corpse of a demon and proceeded to bludgeon to death every goblin in the fortress with it (Corpses do blunt damage...go figure)

One time I managed to get the live fly that I was attacking a cyclops with ripped out of my hands. The cyclops then proceeded to pierce both of my lungs and my heart using that same live fly.
