Yeah SoundSense reads the gamelog, I know of it.

"SoundSense is focused on Fortress Mode, and provides a very large set of audio cues for events - it can be
very helpful in alerting the player of combat, a strange mood, ghosts, weather, and many other things.

Adventure Mode kind of works. The battle sounds function quite well because they are mostly the same
as those in Fortress Mode. But SoundSense is still a bit lacking in other adventure sounds, because
Adventure Mode does not log many useful events. For example, encountering a megabeast or a quest mob
is resolved in chat, leaving no message in the game log to trigger SoundSense. "

As you can see, I have been having a rather severe problem with duplicate posts. >:(  I will try using a new browser.

Anyway, I was hoping for suggestions on what tiles to use for some of the new races (and their warrior versions), for now specifically:

- Orcs
- Hobbits
- Ents
- Wargs
- Boldogs http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Boldog See "Other versions of the Legendarium".
- Balrogs
- Wights http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Wights
- Mewlips http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Mewlips The poem is excellent!
- Drúath http://tolkiengateway.net/wiki/Druedain These weren't in the films but should have been.
- probably more too

I don't know all the creatures in DF (and there are many), and I would like for the new tiles to be not oft-used so the new creatures are not confused with others, which is why I need your (more experienced) help.

A lot of creatures just use their letter:
Orcs: O or o
Hobbits: H or h
Ents: E
etc.

Did you want to use something else?

No, as long as those aren't already used up by too many common creatures. For now I guess I'll just use their first letters, then.

Well, I think O is used for Giant Olms, o is used for otters maybe octopus. h might be used for hawk, etc.

Hey, this sounds really promising. Although this project might be abandoned, have you considered releasing your work on it so that other LotR mods might utilize it?
