*somewhat warily* I haven't actually seen them at all recently. If they show up, though, then yes, I will gladly assist in that regard.

Letters made of swords form in the sky:

BRING IT

Cat sets up a giant base in the core of the planet, psionically protecting herself from the heat. The letters then break up and rain down on Daphne.

Lucidly dreaming a great dome of steel that shattered any swords that strike against it, Daphne gave Aaron a shrug.

"See? Even now, the cat waits at the core, no doubt trying to make it self destruct. Let's go down there and slaughter her!"

As you enter the core, Cat zips out to the entrance and makes the base's ceiling collapse.

Is waiting at the entrance/exit of the base. Roll to dodge, cat.

I rolled a 4. I guess this means I managed it.

Cat dodges Aaron's strike and keeps flying away, then turns a mountain or two into a some around the entrance.

...no. No it doesn’t.
You’re rolling against Aaron, who has a +4 to his own rolls. While I suppose you’d have a +1 or +2 to dodging, due to small size, Aaron’s actual attack would also have to be rolled for.

Just rolled, and Aaron’s roll is a 5, for a final total of 9 against your 6 to dodge.

You are currently being held by the neck. I suggest you start explaining why I shouldn’t crush you.

Due to my immense psionic powers, I can liquify myself, flow out of whatever is holding me, then reform my body and mind. I'll do that.

Cat, now on the ground, is tunneling a new tunnel.

(1+4=5) v (2+2=4)
Despite nearly avoiding them, you’re currently being held tightly by vines, and the tunnel you made is increasingly filled with them. They look to be extremely flammable.

Heat is particle movement. Burn the vines with psionics, while turning the fire away from myself.

Ok, Ima stop you there.

You’re fighting Aaron. You need to roll some freaking dice.
I don’t care what your actions are. You know what you’re character is capable of, so you’re in charge of that. But how successful they are needs to be governed by die rolls. So roll. Don’t just say that something happens.

OK. I rolled a 1.

Cat not only burns part of her fur off but also fails to burn off the vines completely.

Cat now attempts to dig a really wide tunnel to escape.

3.

The tunnel is partially overtaken by vines, but still enough to escape.

Did I do it right? I played only minimalistic RTDs before.

Basically, yes. That said, you probably at least have a basic +1, likely a +2, but at least for stuff that is in direct opposition to Aaron, each of those goes down by one. So yes, that basically sums up the correct effects.

Now, Aaron breathes fire into the hole/tunnel - which, as we’ve established, is filled with very flammable vines.

2+4=6. If you want to not get immolated, you better figure something out quick.
