You follow the escort troopers, ordering your own soldiers to follow you.  It is a fairly brisk pace, but a respectable one.  They escort you through a different entrance to get your troops out en-mass.  A request to your escorts about the size of the force comes back with the reply, "it's only around a few hundred soldiers.  If not for one factor, we could take them out easily."

"What is the problem?" you ask.

"The leader of the forces appears to be a surviving Jedi from before Order 66," the trooper replies.  "Specific identity is currently unknown."  You don't know what these Jedi are, but you aren't concerned.  The God-Emperor will protect.

After a short time, you arrive at the front lines.  Your forces spread out and engage the attacking forces, and you fire upon the heretics assaulting the base with your Bolt Pistol and tearing open a few with your Chain Sword, inspiring several troops that remain with you.  A few of your soldiers start to break down and start to flee or turn their weapons on their fellows, and you execute them as heretics.  After you grenade a group of enemy soldiers, you spot an individual cutting their way through your soldiers with what appears to be a Power Sword, throwing soldiers around like ragdolls through telekinesis, and reflecting back shots fired upon himself.  Considering how a Jedi was apparently a major problem, it looks like you found a Jedi.  And he is killing the loyal servants of the Emperor under your command.

How do you attempt to kill this foul heretic?

You fire upon the Jedi with your Bolter pistol to announce your challenge to the individual.  The Jedi dodges away from your shot, the bolter shot continuing and killing a soldier behind him.  You securely holster your Bolter as you approach, drawing your Chainsword after.  You won't risk it against the Power Sword, but if you get an opportunity, you may be able to pull off a strike with it.  You shout to you troops to avoid firing upon the Jedi, as you want to be the one to kill the heretical scum.  Fire turns its focus away from the Jedi when your order finishes.  From what you can tell, the Jedi is fairly confident of their skill, but has a level of concern in his eyes.

You rush forwards, the Jedi apparently attempting to use his telekinesis upon you, before strangely recoiling, the hand without the Power Sword going to his heart and fear running across his face.  You bring up your Power Fist and move to strike, the Jedi narrowly managing to regain his composure in time to dodge.  The Jedi attempts to bring around the Power Sword, but the field around your Power Fist is able to cause the blade to bounce back.  However, the Fist appears to have been slightly damaged from it.  It is not to the point that the weapon won't work, but you recognize that you can only do that a limited number of times.

From the fear and shock seen within the Jedi's eyes, you can tell that what just happened wasn't supposed to have happened.  Seeing a moment of weakness, you take the momentum gained from the parry to strike with the Chainsword.  The blade is going for the neck, and in the partially dazed state, the Jedi attempts to parry the blade.  The parry is slow enough that the Chainsword is starting to bite through his neck before the gold lightsaber hits it.  The Chainsword is severed in two, but the far end embeds itself halfway in the Jedi's neck.  The Jedi collapses, dropping the bladeless Power Sword at his feet.  You lean down and tear out the portion of the Chainsword embedded in the Jedi's neck, in the hopes of later repairing it, and pick up the bladeless Power Sword.  The hilt is exceptionally plain, and you resolve to remedy that later.  You have heretics to kill right now.

How do you finish off the remaining heretics?

You look around and see that the fighting has seemingly paused from the shock at your action of killing the Jedi.  Deciding to take advantage, you heft the sword of the enemy Jedi and shout, "Their leader has fallen!  Soldiers of the God-Emperor, finish these heretics!"  You punctuate your first sentence with grinding your heel into the Jedi's head and the second by firing your Bolter into the enemy forces.  While some of the regular stormtroopers seem to have a double take at your speech, your stormtroopers are inspired and assault with renewed inspiration, some shouting praises to the Emperor.  Within a short time, all the heretical rebels have been slain.  You look over your troops and see that over the course of the battle you lost thirty-six clones from your forces.

What do you do now?

You find that a few heretics had been captured, but when you try to secure a few for your rousing speech, the other soldiers inform you that the interrogators want a few to gain information from.  You accept this calmly and go over to your soldiers to perform a rousing speech.  You believe it would have gone off better if you had heretics killed during its high points, but the spirits of your troops are still raised, especially with your attempts to install Kriegan Dead Veneration.  You end the speech with orders from your dataslate to have your troopers assigned to guarding the walls to prevent further rebel incursions.  After a few hours, your forces are relieved by those who had been searching the facility and sent back to the barracks.

After you arrive at your personal quarters, you make the request of a list of materials to improve the appearance your captured weapon, gold chief among them.  The individual who showed you where you quarters states they will pass on your request and proceeds to leave.  You return to your work upon the Lectitio Divinitatus, but you come across two problems.  Portions of the Lectitio Divinitatus are chronicles of certain events in the past, which have not happened yet from the perspective of your current location.  This is simply fixed by writing them as being future events, but a second issue crops up.  While you can get the written portions done yourself, your ability to create the images of the divine God-Emperor found within the Lectitio Divinitatus is highly lacking.  You know any attempt to create them would not properly portray the greatness of the Holy Emperor, but the Lectitio Divinitatus will not be complete without them.

Upon consideration of the problem, you send off the request for volunteers to create an image of the God-Emperor to your troopers.  You initially think to put in an extremely detailed description, but then recall that the God-Emperor had the ability to shift his appearance at will, and your troops would be much greater inspired if they created something that resonated with them.  However, there are three details that you do leave in.  His height, the fact that his appearance is of a human at their peak ability, and a detailed description of his armor.

After a short period of time, during which you meditate and pray to the God-Emperor, the tools and material you requested arrive.

It takes you a fair deal of time in order to create your modifications to the lightsaber.  Primarily, this is due to being forced into creating the incantations from scratch as you modify the construct, especially with your effort to hybridize the twin machine spirits of your chainsword and the power sword.  After many hours of work, you finish your modifications to the weapon.

The finished blade features a crossguard built around the emitter composed of a material that is apparently called Cortosis, a layer of gold over it, in the shape of a winged skull.  On one side of the hilt, the grip is guarded by a short portion of your chainsword, which after a long period of effort appeasing the combined machine spirit is able to be rendered active with a second switch upon the handle.  The handle itself has the grip of the Chainsword, with a opening for the activation buttons.  At its base, there is a skull composed of a material they refer to as Durasteel with more gold laced over it.

Soon after you finish, you get two messages upon your dataslate.  Checking the names, you find one is from the Inquisition and the other is from one of the officers of the unit you are in charge of.  Which do you open first?

You read through the message from the Inquisitor first.  Inside is a congratulation for both your victory against the attack by the heretical rebels and your kill of the Jedi.  It seems strange that there is no mention of praise to the God-Emperor inside, but you take notice that the message also contains orders of location reassignment when the new clones come in.  They ask for you to inform them when this occurs so you can be deployed.

You follow up by reading through the message of the officer.  Inside you are provided with images that are gloriously rendered of the God-Emperor, interestingly of similar appearance to the vast murals of your memory.  Furthermore, it also notifies you of the new clones having come in and have been converted to the God-Emperor, as well as a few excess that can convert further clones.

Do you want to send a message to the Inquisitor you are ready and timeskip to arrival at your assignment, or is there something more you wish to do?

On the journey over to the target planet, you finish up the Lectitio Divinitatus and proceed to distribute it to all the clones.  They seem to have a further ignition of their faith.  The fleet you are within seems to include numerous 'Star Destroyers'.  You are uncertain why there needs to be more than one if they are all able to destroy stars, but you believe it has to do with most of them lacking in size.  With exception to the one you are on, the Executor-class Star Dreadnought Reaper.  While the vertical profile is smaller than a Mobile Chapter Fortress, it is nearly twice the length.

Soon enough, you arrive at the target planet and the combined fleet of the planet's defenders and the Rebellion, stationed with your clone troopers.  Some of them have added an Aquila to the shoulders of their armor.  You seem to remember the planet's name was Mandalore, but you put this thought from your mind when an announcement comes that the ship has been boarded relatively nearby, from what you can tell.

You lead your forces to the boarding forces as the request for nearby soldiers to assist.  When you arrive at the infiltrated hanger, you see Imperial forces fighting against soldiers coming out of landed ships you do not recognise.  When you see the troops with a T shaped slot on their helmet, you get a familiar sensation like you are near Ultramarines.  When looking to one you think you heard someone call either Boba Fett or Bobbie Feet (you believe it was the latter), the feeling seems to get stronger.

Just before you initialize the charge, you have a thought that it would have been more impressive if you would have had a more formal name to shout before charge.  You'll have to inquire about it.  For now, you have heretics to kill.  You initialize your Power Sword and shout as you begin your charge, "Soldiers of the Empire!  Charge forth and destroy these heretics!  For the Emperor!"

The clones shout a battle cry of assent as they charge in after you.  Something about the battlecry seems to stagger the Heretics, likely in fear.  It seems to have amazed your fellow Imperials.  You note they seem to have a new resolve.

The Heretics manage to recover before your charge fully reaches them, and they begin to fire upon your forces.  Many clones are downed before you reach them, but the Mandalorians also take losses from the fire your charging troops are sending into them.  Bobbie Fett aims towards you, but you reach in range that you think you could perform the action, and decide to pull a flying leap.  The bolt he fired narrowly misses, hitting a clone that was near you.  You bring the blade down to split his head open, but something strange happens.  The material of the blade resists the force of the Power Sword, but it does stagger your foe and cuts his blaster to pieces.  He jets back out of range as your clones smash into the Mandalorians.

You sneered at the cowardly heretic as he jets away from you and raise your Bolter pistol. Having shot many, many fleeing individuals before as well as several elusive Eldars in your time, tracking the Mandalorian was almost elementary. Ignoring much of the fighting happening around you and several energy bolts that bounced off of your Refractor Field, no doubt the Heretic's underlings trying to cover their heretical leader's cowardly retreat, you squeezed the trigger, sending a bolt flying out with a satisfying *BLAM*

Your aim is true, as it always have been when the Emperor guided your hand to smite down enemies of the Imperium. Your bolt smashes into the named Bobbie Fett's chestplate, the miniature rocket piercing Mandalorian steel, burrowing itself into the heretic's chest cavity before it explodes inside him, turning the fleeing scum into a shower of blood, gore and smoking bits of whatever remains of his armor and equipment after the explosion.

Strong-willed as they may be, getting showered in their own champion's blood and gore severely damages the morale of the heretics. Their line falters as words got out of their Champion's demise while several of your clones who saw your righteous execution of the enemy cheered and roared in zealous frenzy for the God Emperor, faltering the enemy lines even further with renewed zeal.

"In the name of the God-Emperor, repent heretics!  Return to his service and you may be spared!" you shout over the battlefield in a flight of fancy in order to see if the heretics would return to the true path.  A few actually begin to repent, however most, like true heretics they are, begin striking forth at you and those who were repenting.  Stoically, you give the command to your soldiers, "Purge the Heretics who will not repent!  For the Emperor!"

"For the Emperor!" your soldiers and a few inspired others respond, striking forth with ever greater zeal.  The heretics are strong, but the weight of fire of your fellow imperials, and the combination of your bolter and bladeless power sword cut them down and clear out the boarding party.  While doing so, you find the commanders of this part of the ship holding out against an attack by the final members of the Mandalorian boarding party, a few having been killed.

As things calm, you look over your command.  Several of your own troops have died, but you have gained a few of the former heretics.  Proudly, you notice that the clones under your command are preaching the word of the Lectitio Divinitatus to the repented heretics and fellow imperials.  Such model guardsmen.
