Jonna vs Oceanus
First, we roll their AGI to see who attacks faster.
Jonna rolls (4)+[AGI]3=7. Ouch
Oceanus rolls (14)+[AGI]3=17.
Oceanus takes initiative. If one of them were blocking, this would be important, but as both are attacking it isn't that big of a deal.
Now for Damage
Oceanus rolls (13)+[STR]1+[WPN]4=19. Jonna has 2 RES, she takes 17 damage.
Jonna rolls _{o shit} (20)+[STR]5+[WPN]2=27!! Oceanus has 2 RES, and takes 25 damage.

And RES, does this only come into play when blocking?

If this is about the tag Werewolf Hunt changed to Werewolf Capture on the other thread, that was just because you wanted the beast caught instead of killed. If I understand you correctly. (something I still don't advise at such an early state, far harder than the already hard task of killing such a beast)
