Leader name: Bannermaster Hugin
Leader backstory: The last remaining leader of the Orkish Banners.
Race: Orks
Race description: Elder Scrolls Type Orks.
Culture: The Orkish People have always been highly militarized. A Society praising discipline and devotion to the people. The entire race has been divided up into different banners. Each was led by a bannermaster and in case of outside agression (or more propable agression upon the outside) they would gather and call the Banners to war.
Orkish Life is highly reglemented and one serves his entire life in the military. He might be a farmer or a miner but he will work those jobs as part of the Engineering Force. In Orkish Society there are no civilians. Everyone serves in one way or another. From the crib to the graveyard and even into the afterlife the common Ork follows orders.

Starting units/buildings:
10- 1xPost-Exitus Recruitment Center (a Graveyard providing Bodies and Mana for Necromancers)
20- 1xNTRF (Necromantic Training and Research Facility)
15- 1xOrkish Necromancer
15- 1xOrkish Jaeger (Soldier, Light Infantry with an air rifle)
10- 2xMines
10- 2xFields
10- 1xSmith
10- 2xLumber Mill

Unique Unit:

As such such Units comprise of a vast variety of mismatched races, weaponry, training and abilities)

Unique Building:
Freikorps Barracks (allows Recruitment of Orkish Freikorps, Units which comprise of the Unique Units of other people)

Just to get this out there:
Special character: Chimera (20). Normally, Patchwork keep themselves in a functional state, in that they like to keep a form that lets them go about their everyday lives. Chimeras are Patchwork who have had far too many extra bits attached, leaving them gargantuan masses of flesh and body-parts hardly recognizable as what it once was. They can't feed themselves and have essentially given up their humanity (a process that is incredibly difficult to reverse), spending most their days being feed in a specially made stable. In return, they are capable of dealing and (especially) taking massive amounts of damage, making them virtually a tank on the battlefield.

Special building: Chopshop (50). A building that houses "extra" bodyparts along with skilled medical experts, allowing them to quickly and effectively repair damaged tissue to the point injured troops can be sent back to the battlefield, miraculously even those near-death before hand. For every two (?) units of one type that are destroyed, a new unit is created of the same type.

I'm still around, and have been working on the IC. My last two days just randomly became super busy.

So I'm not finished with the map, but I wanted to go ahead and get the ball rolling on the game itself. This first turn will serve as an in game Q&A as well as a way for the leaders to meet and discuss how to govern the new world. From this point on players will typically have race specific issues that need addressing as well as community things.

Are races still being accepted?

Because trying to stuff Fate/Whatever's engrish and the title of a 17th century book on statecraft into Pokemon syntax tends to make the content incomprehensible.

How often is this game supposed to update? I'm a bit worried about the total lack of any signs of life from the GM.

websim.ai is coming dangerously close to being able to run Gridhood. Maybe I'll live to see the day if I exercise, eat right, and somehow convince the world's governments not to nuke everyone.

I Think the GM is on Break already, Specially since they haven't been on since the 19th.

Big games are a lot to take on. It is easy to underestimate them and then get hit by a towering stack of unexpected stress.
No ill will from me toward the GM if he walks.
