Gems on Weapons

I'd like to be able to put gems on weapons. The creepy jewel-encrusted dagger is a classic fantasy trope that needs some love.

I'd like to be able to put anything on anything. Metal spikes on my clothes are awesome, but maybe I want wool spikes on my sword! Efficiency and purpose be damned, it's an Armokdamned wool spike, you can't go wrong with that.

I could definitely see wool spikes on toys at any rate. Speaking of which, soft toys would be nice.

Maybe for squishy human children.  If dwarven kids want something soft to play with, they know the way to the corpse stockpile.
