Adventure Mode Camps

Is there a way to know to 100% if a camp has been cleared? I thought I had cleared a bandit camp but when I returned after leaving for a few hours I discovered another bandit. Do I get a pop up or something like that if all bandits in a group/camp are eliminated?
They're kinda confusing since they aren't hostile...

Camps are really buggy, as are bandits in general. Return there every day for a few days and see if that works.
