No, Fly Agaric is what happens when "The Fly" tries to fix his first genetic mishap with his teleporter-- AFTER trying to kill the fairy ring growing in his front lawn, due to the home owner's association raising Cain about it.

He thus is then part mushroom, part fly, and part man--- With all the powers combined.
