Fill to the brim with carp...
« on: March 31, 2015, 10:12:09 pm »

I made sure my mountainous embark had a stream at the very corner of my embark zone, but when I arrive I found out it was filled to the brim with carp. There are nine carp in this stream and its barely 3 tiles wide, are carp still dwarf killers in the latest version of the game? Is there anyway I can kill all the carp if they are?

Likes Goblins for their terrifying features because I can slaughter them with gleeful abandon.

Carp are not nearly as dangerous as they used to be, don't worry about it.

Its a feature. Impregnating booze is a planned tech tree for dwarves and this is a sneak peek at it.

At this point every edition of DF feels like a game of "Which creature will be inexplicably bloodthirsty?"

I feel a little sad whenever I see carp no longer being swimming murder machines. Recently I've found that as a sort of sick joke, Goblin invaders will stop heel-turn away from the Fort and kill the carp in the river before going onward. It stings so much.

Are Giant Undead Sponges still the most unkillable thing ever, or has .40 fixed that?

EDIT: Corrected wording a bit, and fixed grammar a bit too...

I should make a mod for this. Prone-to-rage amphibious carp, berserk elephants...

How about some kind of unimaginable combination of the two? A Carpephant.

For some reason instead of imagining what I should have, I had a vivid image of Spongebob and Patrick in this pose:
