[Hide check average: 17]
[Spot check average: 6... ow.]

By some miracle, nobody is spotted. You and your fifteen men make it to the supposed location of the secret entry, which is thankfully at a blind spot.

While you and your men quietly search the rough stone walls for some way in, Private Waltom locates a small stone button on one of the stones. He asks for your [as in, your group's] permission to press it.

"The button could prove to be interesting enough, but allow me to examine it"
Spellcraft check, is it magical?
If so, UMD check, what does it do?
Knowledge (Arcana), what do I know about the magic and it's uses?

The button is not magical.

Grumbling under his breath, Norward presses the button.

Voreldarsjach takes the time to hit everyone in the group with Endure Exposure, and turns on Motivate Dexterity for +5 to checks for Dex-based checks (including Initiative!).

"Presumably that opens the way in. Ideally, it does so without killing us all or sounding the alarm. Be ready to dodge."
