Strange Mother-Child talk thoughts

Was keeping tabs on some sad dwarves, when I noticed that one said she "felt love after talking with her mother recently." Thing is, her mother isn't in the fortress. Then I looked at her child, who said that he "felt tenderness talking with his child recently." He's one year old. It appears that they are actually talking to each other, but the thoughts have somehow gotten mixed-up. Does anyone else see this?

I've noticed the latter, definitely, but I didn't see fit to pay mind to it.  Does it count as a bug?

Don't know if it counts as a bug as it doesn't affect game correct working but perhaps it can be changed to have a batter playing experience.

Yeah, that's a bug worth reporting but it's definitely not game breaking or anything.

I've had a female werebeast locked up into a bridged-off room have a happy thought about talking to her child a year after she horribly murdered it when she transformed :P

I thought it wouldn't be a surprise that your average dorf is slightly insane, or insanety is just barely hiding under the surface :D

Clearly the females in DF have found a way to speak to the primary follicles inside their gonads at any age. And they consider them their children  :P

I noticed the same thing today, as well!

My dwarf said "I talked with Mother recently." Problem is, is that she does not live in this fortress. Is my dwarf a psychic?

I've seen it too, and it's clearly parent/child talks with the messages reversed, i.e. child says "I talked with my child" and the parent "I talked with <parent>".

We will be fine. This bug isn't game-breaking, and wont be unless dwarves also gain the ability to telepathically communicate with their In-Laws.  :P

Right, it's a bug but not a game-breaking bug.  Probably best classified as a minor bug.
