To the south-east, in the depths of Udrith swamp, lies ruin of an ancient temple dedicated to Udr, demon of Laziness. Legends tell that, true to the nature of his believers, temple never got finished in the first place. Furious demon then cursed the lands around it to slowly turn into dreadful all-eating swamp. Truly, vicious malice of Udr knew no end - generation after generation of people would see their beautiful desert turned into something absolutely disgusting...
Ages passed, hundreds of empires rised and crumbled to dust, but Udrith swamp is still just a few miles in diameter. And grows all the same.
It is known that all creatures, great and small posses a degree of sentience. For example the Munakan, renowned as the dumbest species in the world use a form of fractional banking which keeps them in perpetual debt and slavery.
Stories tell that on one of the tallest mountains in the far west there is a gong. No one knows what would happen if it were struck...
A race of human-like creatures with turtle shells and tails live in underwater cities made of coral and sand.
This coral is sentient, and has some degree of control over the turtle-men.
The world itself is shaped like an hourglass. The top circle is the ordinary overworld, called Lux, while the bottom is Acerbus. In Acerbus, everything runs parallel to Lux but in a different way.
Some can't travel between the 2 via great sandfall, but none have returned.
There is a species of Orks which are blue, which have an abnormally high affinity for WATER. They are much more intelligent than normal orks, and live close to bodies of water.

Legends speak of the Rithas, an ancient and extinct civilization of large, golden, four armed hominids known for their sword crafting.  While extremely rare, Rithasi swords are known to be made of an unknown material that still hold an exceptional edge. The technique for forging said material has been lost to time, though blacksmiths still try....and fail..to replicate it

One known Rithasi sword belongs to the royal Char Elf family of Rae'mus, passed from generation to generation, and is in the hold of the current king of Char Elves, Magmus II.

The Char Elves are currently undergoing a civil war, which is caused by Magmus II's poor treatment of his subjects.

There is also one other fabled Rithasi weapon: Gnugnirad (Noog-Knee-Rad, hard g, rad as in totally awesome) the Riftstalker, a long Rithasi zweihander. Its location is unknown, and its powers, if it even exists at all, involve the sundering of realities and concepts, allowing it to cut through anything, even those that are inherently invulnerable.

One legend states that Gnugnirad exists no more due to some fool cutting the Gnugnirad's concepts into two, creating a logical paradox which created the Wey-Aether Crater and culled the Gnugnirad's existence.

The Rithas, along with all other contemporary civilizations, were all eradicated in a singular, if unknown cataclysmic event. The "Great Dying", while the source of an unheard of loss of life, still left behind many ruins and artifacts of a time long since past

 on of the more famous Rithas swords is Gulldurn The Obscenely Great Sword which appears to be stick mostly into the ground but no one can be sure because the part which is visible towers nearly two miles into the air with a blade a quarter of a mile wide. Gulldurn is said to be named after the first words people say upon sighting such a massive artifact.

It is known to some that the ruler of the underworld, Belsharso, has in his possession the finest Rithas sword in existance. It is a huge weapon and the enchantments cast upon it are innumerable. If he were to ever pass into Lûx, he would destroy all creatures and nothing could stop him.
