People all over this world only talk in parentheses.

(Well, we can agree on one thing..)

Scholars tend to argue on which of the Shuul, Hrrun and Errkh are the most intelligent.

((seems pretty clear, the Shuul are the sentient species, while the Hrrun are the most intelligent animal species perhaps somewhere between dog and dolphin intelligence. this places the Ochac and the Errkh as the other two main northern animal species mentioned.))

(I think we're speaking about different kinds of intelligence. Orcs form tribes quite fine, but they are far from being smart. Their orge relatives stand even farther from brain abundance. But it does not prevent them from being sentient tribalistic human-eaters. Quite successful in that, by the way.)

With most expeditions to the north being eaten, truth may elude historical books for a long time, giving scholars an open field for discussion.

The ruins of the cities of the ant golems are populated by hobtrolls.
Hobtrolls are little creature scavengers. All of their technology is 'borrowed'.
On the Far East end of the world lies an enormous sea of lava known as the Sea of Fire. On it lie islands of obsidian, inhabited by dark-skinned fireproof Char Elves, who worship a great magma millipede.
To the farthest west lies a range of mountains. In those mountains lie an unknown race of unknown origin.
In the far cold north there lives the Shuul, intelligent sentient muskox-people. They live in various tribes and fish and hunt for survival.
Their main food sources are the Hrrun, semi-intelligent spiders the size of dogs, and the Errkh, a species of large bears with leathery wings the size of a man, the stinger and tail if a scorpion and the legs of a spider.
The main diet of the Errkh consists of Shuul and Hrrun.
There is a prophecy which states 'when the two blue suns rise, the final invasion will begin.
Scholars all argue on whether the Errkh, the Hrrun or the Shuulk are the most intelligent.
With mist expeditions north being eaten by one of the species, truth may elude historical books for a long time, giving scholars something to argue about.
Edit: like I said, 14 posts.

You forgot this part:
With most expeditions to the north being eaten, truth may elude historical books for a long time, giving scholars an open field for discussion.

Unless you left it out on purpose.

To the south-east, in the depths of Udrith swamp, lies ruin of an ancient temple dedicated to Udr, demon of Laziness. Legends tell that, true to the nature of his believers, temple never got finished in the first place. Furious demon then cursed the lands around it to slowly turn into dreadful all-eating swamp. Truly, vicious malice of Udr knew no end - generation after generation of people would see their beautiful desert turned into something absolutely disgusting...

Ages passed, hundreds of empires rised and crumbled to dust, but Udrith swamp is still just a few miles in diameter. And grows all the same.

it is known that all creatures great and small possess some level of sentence, for example the Munakan renowned by all as the dumbest species in the world still use a form of fractional banking which keeps them perpetually in debt and slavery.

Stories tell that on one of the tallest mountains in the far west lies a massive gong of blue crystal and white gold. What happens when one hits this gong, nobody can say for certain, but the theories are endless...

The coral is sentient and controls the human-like creatures.

The world is shaped like an hourglass.
With the top circle being the normal overworld, it is called Lûx.
And the bottom circle there is an opposite world called Acerbus, where things run parallel to Lûx but in a different way.
Some can travel to the other world through the great sandfall, but no one have ever returned.

There is a species of Blue Orks which have strong affinities with WATER. They are much more intelligent than ordinary Orks, and live close to bodies of water such as rivers.
