My personal opinion is that it's impossible to speak a foreign language completely without accent, so don't fret it. IMO you should concentrate in avoiding grammar mistakes before even worrying about the pronunciation.

HAHAHAHA

oh my god dude verb tenses are going to fucking destroy you

Six for each verb in the past, present, and future. Five if you only count those used in non-catalan dialects

Welcome to romanic languages, UristMcDwarf - the harder bunch of worldly languages :P

Also first time I ever heard someone cannot make the R's...

* Haspen rrrrr's in joy :p

Learning verb tenses can be pretty easy depending on your teacher. It's not like all of them get learned in one year.

SUDDENLY, grammatical cases (for nouns). Spanish have those, or not?

If I understand correctly what grammatical cases are, then Spanish is about the same as English there.

In your first foreign language class you're likely to learn how little you were actually taught about the English language. "So that's what a dependent clause / verb conjugation / possessive pronoun is!"

This is so true!

You know nothing about your language until you compare it to another one. It just seems so natural to you, that you don't even care to noice all the structure behind it.

The good part with latin languages is that each language you learn make it easier for the next you will learn.
But it's true. Don't focus too much on pronunciation.
