We KNOW that even knock off drugs (I forget the exact term) are not the same drug and have different side effects and uses.

'Generic' is the term.

Based on anecdotal and otherwise sources, how do people feel about the future?

Based on my 'anecdotal investigations' I've found that a majority of Americans advocate a Lizard Takeover. Misko is a Anti-Lizard Illuminati plant.

Anecdotal? Ahh, the best form of source. It is never wrong, you don't have to cite it, and your argument suddenly sounds more likely to be correct!

Based on my Anecdotal evidence, the vast majority of the population is highly concerned with Lazasaurus Rex attacking.

Anecdotal is code for "what you and your friends think, but I'm not relying on it". Been around the boards a few times. Seen some things.  Things I'll remember. Things anyone remembers.

No, that is just a term that they almost always fall under.

No I am speaking of a more specific term.

FDA prohibits things like putting "no RGBH" labels on things unless you have a disclaimer "proving" that there is "no noticeable difference" between them. Funny. They also now permit any and all GM crops without testing.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)
There is nothing inherently bad with GM crops, after all we have done that with plants for 3000 years - we called it animal husbandry or horticulture.
However, you certainly can make inherently bad modifications. Things like making plants produce pesticides that also kill off bees for example. Or heavens forbid, pesticides that also kill off humans. Plus there is also the economical aspect since GMO crops are monopolized with patents, meaning all distributors and consumers who rely on GMO crops become dependent on the prices given by the patent holders.

Based on anecdotal and otherwise sources, how do people feel about the future?
We're all going to die before we get to see the future, and the human world is going to be too stupid to stop it from killing itself when it happens.

That too. But when messing with a genome, well, we dont know almost anything about what each part douse, so changing it really should be tested. Of course, when the tests are shut down the second the find something bad...

I'm not the only one wondering why dissent is being encouraged, am i? I can understand you might be incredulous to this given the wide array of misinformation available, but if we take PRISM as an example, anyone who gives it ten minutes thought see serious problems with every side of the narrative and yet another reason to mistrust their own government and the US. Protests across the world are receiving steady, if perhaps unavoidable coverage, and all in all nobody has much good to say about whoever their being ruled by and in the west at least are unafraid to say it. i wonder why.

"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds"
- Samuel Adams

"Unfortunately, you’ve grown up hearing voices that incessantly warn of government as nothing more than some separate, sinister entity that’s at the root of all our problems. Some of these same voices also do their best to gum up the works. They’ll warn that tyranny always lurking just around the corner. You should reject these voices. Because what they suggest is that our brave, and creative, and unique experiment in self-rule is somehow just a sham with which we can’t be trusted." - Obama

Sure does help to have an angry majority though. Otherwise the brave, and creative, and unique experiment in corporate rule simply persists with the full trust of the consumer populace.
