By the looks of it, only one wing is required to fly.

If by one wing you mean the FLYER tag and bug-all else.
They don't even need wings?
Don't even need arms. A blob can fly.

Just checked the raws, bugs don't even need wings, nor the giant versions since it inherits the traits of original vermin. It's only the naturally large fliers with wings that have flier tags on their wings, from what I can see. The vermin have flier as part of their creature, instead of associated part, which means you gotta kill or stun them to stop them from flying.

Yeah :D

I have an idea. Let's play a game where you win by being as quiet as possible.
I get it, it's one of those games where losing is fun!
I spend most of your dimension's time outside of your dimension. I can't guarantee followup or followthrough on any comments, ideas, or plans.

Actually.... No. In the arena, I had a golem rip off the wing of one giant thrips and rip off both wings of another giant thrips. The one that only had one wing could fly, as expected. The other...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

...Couldn't.

It seems a giant thrips lacking both wings can't fly, while one with one wing can.  Which has... odd implications.

I believe the rule for flight was previously "If 50% of their [FLIER] body parts are damaged then they can't fly". I guess it's just become "If over 50% of their [FLIER] body parts are damaged then they can't fly." Of course this seems to have the side effect that things with two wings can fly if they only have one since it's not "over 50%".

It would be brutally difficult and probably won't work. In other words, it's absolutely dwarven!
