Right, then. I'll have one ship by the leftmost keep and one by the rightmost keep, ready to move into position should anything happen.

Close in on the Galleon come up directly behind it so it is unable to hit me, Once in range turn ship to present cannons and fire round shot then pull away and allow the Noldor to perform the same maneuver

You try to get into position behind the Galleon, but it continues to maneuver forcing you to stay out of range.

Right, then. I'll have one ship by the leftmost keep and one by the rightmost keep, ready to move into position should anything happen.

You see 6 ships on the horizon, 2 you can immediately tell are Caravels, but the other 4 look bigger, with 2 looking like they are designed for war.

Order the noldor to split off and close in on the rear of the galleon from an angle, the skirmisher is to close from the opposite side, the first ship to get within firing range is to fire at will with round shot.

Flag the ships on shore and tell them to get out here. Begin loading fire darts into all cannons.

The Noldor takes a direct approach to the Galleon, firing as soon as it gets within range.  You fire your cannon (roll 18 vs DC 13) while the enemy fires 2 of its cannons (rolls 8/7 vs DC 13).  Your shot hits solidly, dealing 22 damage to the side.  Both of the enemy rounds fall short.  The Skirmisher falls back a little, trying to get around the back.

Flag the ships on shore and tell them to get out here. Begin loading fire darts into all cannons.

The men in port start hustling to get ready.  Fortunately, the men had not been to far from ship, so they will be ready to leave the pier next turn.  The Caravels from the enemy start heading directly for the Scout with the mid-sized ships following close behind.  The largest of the ships appear to be closing closer to the coast.

Hold steady and wait for everyone to get into position.

What direction are they coming from and what's the wind doing?

Reload round shot, have the skirmisher close up from behind the noldor where the enemy needs to reload and fire  at will. The noldor is to over take the enemy vessel.

Wind is coming from the East, lightly blowing.  The enemies are coming from the NW.

The Noldor closes its distance, managing to get behind the Galleon while it reloads.  The enemy is continuing its turn, allowing it to exchange fire with the Skirmisher.  The Skirmisher manages to fire first (roll 19/1 vs dc 13) getting a light hit (12 damage) on the bow of the Galleon sending a few men flying and breaking one of its cannons, preventing it from firing.  The other cannon fires (roll 20) dealing 16 damage to the Skirmisher.

Both ships are to turn as fast as possible while staying on that side of the ship. Once turned they are to fire at will with all cannons. All crew of both ships not performing essential tasks are to fire at will with rifles.

(( Time for grapeshot to come into play if this rolls like I want this battle is about to come to a swift end. ))

All of my ships move to 6 east of the western tower on the Keep, ready facing the invaders. With the wind at our backs, we should be able to get off a full eight broadsides full of fire darts into the enemy.
