first: Daaaaawwwww Kitties! Any pictures of them?

Secondly, well after that you should spay/neuter your cats. As for the kittens, if they are of certain breeds you can sell them for quite some money. Killing them would be going to far. Maybe you have friends (or fellow DFers) that would take them?

Which begs the question, when will the animal trainer/animal caretaker/surgeon get the "spay/neuter animal" job?

Unless you're a reputable breeder and know what you're doing, please spay/neuter your pets.

I've got 3 grown cats already, all sterilized, so can't take any more. I do love their company and the money they save on exterminators, but enough is enough.
Also I somehow imagine dwarves are polarized as either animal hoarders or detesters.

Certainly you could argue that DF is a lot like The Sims, only... you know... with more vomit and decapitation.
If you launch a wooden mine cart towards the ocean at a sufficient speed, you can have your entire dwarf sail away in an ark.

I sterilized my first 3 cats. Unfortunatly, the neighborhood's semi-strays aren't neutered, and picked my house to dump their litters. I can't afford to have them sterilized. It's over 100 euros per cat. Had the same problem last year, but not this many kittens. Ah well. I managed to get 6 kittens a good home last year, I should be able to find homes for these new pests as well.

If those litters are from the neighbors embarksquare shouldnt they deal with the problem? Atleast i think they should give you money for taking care of the little guys&gals. And you might check with the law, at some European countries (or federal states if you are in one of those countries) its illegal to have outgoing cat that isnt spayed/neutered.

Add trainable tags to them and turn them into war cats.

I had an above ground garden built in the grounds of my castle and two young dwarves spent time socialising there over the summer and at the end of the summer they were in love. Remember those long summers of your childhood? That first kiss in the gardens while crossbows dwarves shoot goblins above your head? The rain of dead birds as the hunters get to work? Truly Spearhills is a paradise.
