I too have dwarves arrive all in yellow sometimes, with no explanation on the health or status screens.  I'm pretty sure they heal up fast.  I assumed it was due to my chilly embark until I read Janglur's post.

I've had a couple inexplicable yellow dwarves myself, in one case including a dwarf indoors.

Some of the migrants will come from old fortresses in this version. They've been known to arrive with their old nicknames, injuries, and psychological trauma.
