Obvious Vampire?

She gets around. Immediately drained someone of blood.

Possible bug though? I could not change her nick or profession name.

Actually my Fortress has a vampire (Just found someone drained of blood) and there are two dwarfs that won't let me nickname them...actually it does but it doesn't show the nickname. I'm wondering if they are the vampires.

Can anyone check on this? I'll try to confirm when I get out of work.

People have reported that vampires cannot be renamed (since they are juggling several names already.)

Also apparently a vampire's true identity will be shown on a memorial slab of a dwarf they killed.

Toady mentioned that there were likely dozens of ways out there to uncover vampires he hadn't accounted for, so these reports are good to let him know the cracks in the system.

You know... given what I know about Adventure mode vampires... this makes perhaps too much sense.
