War Tigerman or pet?

I got one off the elves (they still refuse to sell me their women), so I was wondering if I should recruit him, let a loving dorf adopt him, or wait for him to become my mayor?

But he's so fat, he could totally kill all of my dwarves with the explosion. However, I do have the perfect place to drop him from.

You should just let him become the mayor then.

Then get him adopted.

Mine became mayor.  She wandered around outside my fort murdering kobolds and snatchers.  A true leader that lead by example!

Turns out that he's actually an adequate armor user and bowman, so I guess he was a POW from some war the elves won, or something.

I thought elves ate their defeated enemies, thus they didn't take prisoners.
