I expect most of the quests will still be "go kill x", but x will now be located in a sewer dungeon or behind a mummy's crypt or require a bismuth dagger to kill or something.

Kill x is better than "hail mighty adventurer! You have bested the gloomtroll dripfanned and many more alike. Now bring me X. X being a random materiel random object demand.

 And you thought it was hard to get 3 nickle silver puzzle boxes in Fortress mode!

I'll definitely give adventure mode a shot in the new version, but I want to try out fortress mode, mainly to see if some of the longstanding bugs have been fixed and if I get nobles to play with.
