There's the germ of a really good idea here. Why not extend the COMMON/UNCOMMON/RARE tags to civilisation-specific styles of cooking?

Never used Dwarf Therapist, mods or tilesets in all the years I've been playing.
I think Toady's confusing interface better simulates the experience of a bunch of disorganised drunken dwarves running a fort.

i never thinked about that... good point there, tought maybe toady already thinked about it in the arc where every civilization will be more influeced by religion, morals and those. anyway good idea there!

Agreed there. Since it's based of "Western Fantasy" we should have Europian meals.

On the contrary, we have headscarves and turbans, and many non-European animals. There is no reason to limit the cultures to purely modern, western foods.
