I survived though, mostly hanging onto migrant waves to come. And just now did I realize you have to COOK the eggs first.

I feel so retarded, I let a kid starve to death because I didn't cook the eggs.

Hey, to be fair, if he was really hungry he would have eaten it raw.  He must have been faking.

You could also be a heartless bastard and only let in migrants you can feed, but that's a little cold. Or just burrow anyone you can't feed inside the cavern. If they can wall of a suitable farming area(wall has to reach the ceiling, remember) before the forgotten beasts come, they get to live.

Unfortunately, bone hammers are perfectly capable of jamming the skulls through the brains and tearing the brains.

I discovered it some time after i had armed my CotG with this:

yeah i though it would be a great stymbol of punishment and discipline with that name, material and history.
It was made by a fell child during the tantrum spiral outof bones of some unhappy dwarf (Asmel Namelenses was his name, he was a humble fishery worker and had two children and a wife all of them are dead now), and said child is now the mayor of the fort, but it turned out the damned thing brings much more punishment and discipline that i ever expected.

A Golden Warhammer. Now THAT's a symbol of office fit for a king. Also nice for playing Gobbo-Clobbrin'.

Obviously Girlinhat has never seen the proper destructive power of a BB gun.
