I've always seen swearing as a sort of linguistic equivalent to monosodium glutamate.

*shrug*

I cuss for aesthetic reasons, much of the time.  When I'm actually angry, I just pace and hit things.

I... Try not to swear?

Seriously. I use darn instead of the more widely used verb.

Thanks to the way my father acted, I take swearing with very low seriousness. In other words, I, LIKE TO SWEAR AND CURSE ALL NIIIGGGHTTTTTT......

Yeah, there's something about this place, like it's this giant ass frathouse full of different kinds of nerds that tear up the place every now and again but the morning after it's like nothing's happened, or something, i can't really express it but from all the forums that i've visited this one has remained the most interesting one by far with the least amount of people whose posts i have to skip over.
In the end i think it's because there is so many different people here that everyone finds something that they like, heck i've started in the upper forums and i slowly drifted down to the RP forums and ended up in the middle with Creativity, Other games and GD, i still occasionally peek into the other forums but most of my activity is around these parts.Another indication i think of how awesome people around here are is the sheer amount of people that quote each other, something i've never seen before on the internet.

On the topic of swearing, i used to be this polite kid before, i rarely if ever swore, then i slowly started to do it, i still don't do it when i'm with my family, only with friends, and it usually amounts to fucks or the like, and it's mostly lost all of it's meaning as a swear. Then when i'm especially upset, angry or simply very creative i can chain up the most convulted and twisted curses and swears that most of the people that know me simply go 'wtf i didn't know you were capable of that'

A precision F strike is much more effective for swearing, but many people just drop them for no real reason. I swear a lot but it really doesn't change what I'm saying. When I have a legitimate reason to swear I rarely ever do, I may say 'oh shit' but that's about it, opposed to fucking dropping F bombs like they're the fucking shit every other goddamn word.
