And the magma-wheel sounds like such a dwarven thing to begin with!  I wonder if we might end up with a steam turbine (mechanical, not electrical) made from a certain building exposed to water and magma, or if we can get obsidian generators with a similar device.

Reminds me of the crystal of fire in final fantasy V - soon to power boats etc.

That is... if we had boats. Or if we had magma-wheels even.
