Pump operation no longer exhausting?

I noticed in 40d, that when a dwarf who didn't have a high level of skill in Pump Operating manually pumped a pump, he would fairly quickly Cancel Job:  Too Exhausted (or something similar).  Just now in DF2010 I set a dwarf with Dabbling Pump Operator to operate a pump, and he did so until I told him to stop, without becoming exhausted.  Do dwarves no longer become exhausted from pump operation in DF2010?

That kind of exhaustion apparently no longer exists. I have no idea what high skill levels in pumping do now, if anything.

They can. It depends on how frail a dwarf is. A tough dwarf who is dabbling will not tire out. A frail dwarf will repeatedly become tired until he stops being a wimp. You can turn a scrawny dwarf into a beefy dwarf but it takes a lot of work.

Build a bigger gym!

Construct Iron pumps in 8arracks. Dwarfs pump iron to 8eef up!

They get exhausted. I have a gym running in my fort with 10 pumps constantly on.
From time to time they get exhausted.
