Yeah.  Winters and the French guy both got me a New Orleans scenario, but the first one I picked got me a farmhouse sorta dealie.

Anyway, this one was kind of cool.

I think I was the Louisiana Colored or something, and I spoke French, literate.  I got involved with Clotho, but I messed up and got her killed.  I think the game alluded to her reviving.  Once the thing updates, I am going to be extremely disappointed if I don't get to reunite with a voodoo zombie lesbian girlfriend.  That sounds like it would end on a bad note, though.

Oh wait!  No save files!  Lame.  Her stats weren't very good, anyway.

I don't think it's possible to keep Clotho alive. 

[spoiler]If you try to get permission to turn her your maker will have Jesse drain her.  If you talk to Jesse and tell him how you feel about her you can get a hint that it won't be good to tell your maker and try to flee, but she gets ground to mush by a cart on the way to meet you the following evening.  I haven't tried turning her without permission but that probably turns out similarly badly.  They need her to die in order to introduce that whole love beyond death death thingy and also drive home the fact that being an immortal sucks.  Because you know, it wouldn't be fair if it didn't.

I was disappointed by the lack of "Murder elders in their sleep" options.

Apparently the only mortal you can get close to without them dying horribly is Wilson the servant in vicksburg.  That is to say, once he starts to get old you can ask what's her name to let you turn him, and it all goes off without a hitch.  That's pretty much around the time the game ends.

Has anyone actually gotten particularly far in making anything? I haven't gotten past my startup chapter. Maybe I'll work on it a bit this weekend.

I'm waiting for my data to be recovered so that I can continue making the Middle Eastern game I posted about before in Creative Projects. Still in the early stages though.

Dammit.  I want to continue my awesome bloodsucker/courtier adventures.

Also, West has the coolest scenario.  Specifically, the scenario of being not-in-the-city.  My first Vamp character was a goody-goody that sorta ignored that Rule of Reserve, and despite never getting violent I had 4 strength.

My last one was also in that scenario, but instead of being nice I killed, dominated, scared, and/or intimidated everyone I met ever.

I was disappointed I couldn't fight the mob at the end.  I had like 3/3 strength/fighting, and animal command 2.

Is there any goddamn way to feed on Andrew Jackson? I've tried to with max strength and/or charm but nothing works. He fucking pulls a stake on me.

My guess is Jackson is just there to teach you a lesson or something, but I've only tried it once.

Maybe something like perception, to notice the stake, or that he's faking or something?


Also, I think that you can infer from this game that Jackson just carried a stake around everywhere in this version of history.  Awesome?  y/Y

Everything about Jackson in this game is awesome.

I REALLY want to figure out a way to feed from him, or at least get an explanation for why he seems to be in the know about vampires.
