Once you guys answer my question about the trade deport remove effecting relations, and a question I am about to ask, I will move this, and rename it. It will become a story or some shit. My new question is, how do I find my fortress name.

When you deconstruct the trade depot with trade goods inside, you claim all those goods. However, the merchants may leave without a fuss, the civilization treats it as if you had seized the goods from the trade screen, meaning they may not send a caravan next year... or they may send their military instead of a caravan.

Chances are, you'll gain that season's trade but lose the next several seasons worth. For a lot of junk you didn't want and the dozen or so items you actually did want.

I have NO idea how the dwarven caravan acts when you do that.
