There are options in the init file that do so.

How do you mean, it's not backing up? What did you set your autosave settings to in init.txt? What happens when the season changes?

I mean theres no extra worlds that it makes so i can simply restore from therer
Autosave is set to seasonal
Backup is set to yes
Its also set to pause when it autosaves.

The game worked perfectly fine before on this computer. I've no idea whats wrong... If anybody wants, i'd like instructions on how to upload my file free so yall can look over it and see if theres anything thats wrong with the game.

Oh dear.  You never actually unzipped the game?  That would be your problem.  When people ask where you installed the game, they don't mean "where did you save the zip file."

XP can unzip it itself.  Just open the zip file and go to File -> Extract All.

I did unzip the game. I just tried 7zip and so far it seems to be working-Apparently[i guess] theres a problem with using the default XP unzipper.
