Duke: What do you think we should do about the pants shortage, your Majesty?
Queen: AAAH! AAAH! OH GOD, MY HAND! I CAN'T HOLD ON MUCH LONGER!
Duke: Shall I fetch you some tea, your majesty, while you consider it?
Queen: ...
Duke: I'll leave you to consider it. We've also received several complaints about magma and carp in the living quarters.
Queen: AAAAH! AUGH! OH GOD, MY HAND!

Is it her right hand? If so, you know what that means...

She really needs a right hand man! *Budda-tish*
Seriously, though, Toady needs to fix phantom pain, and you need a "forced re-election." eh-heh-heh.

Phantom pain is already fixed with a scarring system. It's officially finished and part of the next release.

Which I hope will be soon.

Good. Currently the only reward for dogs that are wounded in battle is *Dog tallow roasts*. Dwarves get chunked and used to make better weapons for other dwarves (grimdark dwarves mod).

I agree with Urist. Steampunk is like Darth Vader winning Holland's Next Top Model. It would be awesome but not something I'd like in this game.
Unfortunately dying involves the amputation of the entire body from the dwarf.

Ouch. Ok, removed limbs don't heal, and odds are even though she's tough enough to last she'll be 'wounded' the rest of her life. You can load it in 40d and heal her hand or play it. I know Toady has scarring lined up for future updates (I think it may even be the next one, not sure), so dwarves with removed non-vital body parts will eventually get over the pain, but for now your options are cheating, dealing with it, or magma. (I vote number 3)

Right now, she's not even worried about her (total) lack of quality rooms - (one bad thought about lack of a tomb, tho') -  she's just constantly passed out in an unclaimed bed in the group dorms.

What a tramp.  ::)

Might be the best royal ever!  :D

Well, she's probably feeling the need for a tomb. After all, she's likely to be wishing she was dead, due to all the pain.
