When I watch Abridged Series on Youtube they not only betray their schedual constantly and they not only do not provide you with progress updates... But they ALSO get angry at you for even wondering.

They have had no schedule for months, and it's only one guy.  At least he does update a bit, we're onto ep 41 now.

And now I have my own series which I've abandoned!

What makes you think I was refering to Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged? He jokes about his fans but he never downright harasses them for it. (Frankly being the longest well done Voiced series, for now since others are catching up, deserves some credit)

No that honor goes to another Abridged series which has had videos of him harassing the fans for his lack of updates.

I hate when peaple dont continue things.

I try never to do it, at least not intentionally, whit the exception that I might stop if it's clear nobody but me gives a shit about it. if anyone knows about something i have discontinued that they would want continued, PLEASE inform me so I can resurrect it. My games tend to die because half the players loose interest, that also makes me sad.

I apologize for not updating Lanternwebs regularly. Part of it is that the fortress itself has slowed down, part of it is that I've been busy doing other things, and part of it is that I don't want to update it unless I feel like it's a quality update, which means a schedule based on my current creative feelings. I keep trying to make it more regular, but it hasn't been working thus far.

I am really surprised when Abridged series continue when they are unpopular...

I don't mean the many many bad ones (Goodness Pokemon FTW is horrible for the most part but has a oddly large fanbase)

I mean the really great ones that actually rival the great ones... Like Wedding Peach Abridged

Why is it that the ones we want to die never seem to?

Though I guess what is worse then abandoning the project are those who just do an endless stream of side projects like Avatar Abridged (which is the second best Avatar Abridged I've seen... The CLEAR best was taken off Youtube and never returned) which does an endless stream of things on the side but RARELY if ever continues the actual series.
