Yet I liked Severance better, with them being absolutely identical. I just liked the environment better, and the gameplay was so much more rewarding. DBTS is no doubt a good game, just way too clunky in it's controls.

One billion b-balls dribbling simultaneously throughout the galaxy. One trillion b-balls being slam dunked through a hoop throughout the cosmos. I can feel every single b-ball that has ever existed at my fingertips, I can feel their collective knowledge channeling through my veins. Every jumpshot, every rebound and three-pointer, every layup, dunk and free throw.

I liked both but prefer DbtS for it's controls and dismemberment.

If you like depth over graphics, and hardcore turn based wargames, get Dominions 3.

Ever tried becoming a pro-gamer at this?

Meh, more seriously, definitely Angband. X-COM is an even better game if you manage to get in to it and actually manage to survive your first "mission", though.

Did you just post a bunch of vegi-dicks on my board?  I've been trying to combat forum devolution a bit, and that involves fewer vegi-dicks!

Yes, random is funny, isn't it? Sometimes I set up a random number generator when I need a good laugh.

I actually enjoy Dominions very much, except two things annoy me to the verge of insanity: 1. The trial ends every game abruptly, just when you actually start winning (in my case). 2. $54.95. Who the hell pays sixty bucks for a game like that? I think that's overpriced by at least $25.

The first Dominions has a demo without a turn limit.  However, it does have unit restrictions, along with the usual spell research caps.

Spell research caps that the computer seems to be completely unaware of...  Never ever let an AI enemy get too far ahead with magery...  You won't be able to fight back.

Operation Flashpoint? Arguably the best/DEEP and most modded FPS out there?

I loved playing Operation Flashpoint. It was one of the few game's I've ever really felt immersed in.
