Unless something is broken you definitely can drink vampire blood to become a vampire.
You can quench your thirst with blood but I think for it to be any noticeable amount of hydration you have to drink from a pool not a covering

Yeah, in 0.47 drinking splatter on your stuff reduced the thirst counter by 1, but the action increased it by one, so it made no difference (havn't checked this in beta). And such pools can also be used to fill containers. So, you can also save some for later.

You can do a lot with interactions, and secrets like make your companion explode into a demon upon entering combat

You can also use secrets stacking them in a fashion to where you can make like sort of like quest progression where you start off with one power and you work your way up  and using secrets you can inject mid adventure new attacks into your adventurer

Since you don't heal in adventure mode...to keep the adventures going..!
You can also with modding make very simple healing potions or very powerful healing potions depending on what you want.
You can make a potion right now that can make you do just about whatever you want...

Just found out recently that you can have an effect on what's happening in the world with secrets I made a secret that makes a special type of necromancer creature and I started it in  adventurer and a dialogue popped up saying that this particular creature is on a rampage and that I should go do something about it it's very interesting this is the first time I've seen it and I'm going to I'm going to go crazy playing with this it feels like there's a little r&g involved but  can make things happen : 😁

not sure if my interaction caused it to pop up or just lucky that it poped up and involved my creature at the same time

You can use adventure mode to restore broken functionality to fort sort of

If anyone's played the game enough you know sometimes you lose your nobility for whatever reason I thought what would happen if I went to my fort with an adventure and become nobility there well I did it I came to my fort with an adventurer claimed myself as king and then unretired my fort I didn't get all of the nobility power back but I went from having no nobility and the ability to do nothing with nobility  screen to all of the sudden I could form militia again I had partial nobility options that fort died I didn't get the test how far I could take it I'm trying to get that scenario to happen again but you can partially fix broken forts with adventure mode it's good to know

When I tried to send an adventure party group that had all the administrators that were needed that had all the Master level skills needed to fill those roles I took them to the fort and I was going to dump them there but by the time I got there with this group someone had went through and viciously murdered everybody at the fort and just left corpses there I don't know what happened but I don't want to know

That's because the Feed ability is in a disabled menu.
