Not sure if this goes here, but I would simply like to be able to ask npc's whether or not all the fighting that I just walked into is from a wherbeast, an insurection or something else.

I just want to be able to ask an NPC what the hell is going on, and be told of the general situation.

They will actually tell you if it's an insurrection.
They'll be dead if they got close enough to figure out it's a werebeast.

This might not be as easy as it sounds, a dragon could be attacking but the most recent/important "event" to the npc might be "stukos rainpaddled disagreed with my views, how irritating!"
that said I would certainly enjoy knowing what the hell is going on, maybe if it was some kind of violent invasion instead of people saying "has the tide turned?  I feel no fear?" etc they could mix in saying things like "help, a dragon is trying to eat me!"

Dragon: I ate a delicious meal. That was satisfying!

... but yes, it would be nice to somehow get better information about conflicts and such.

on that note we need creatures to be able to consume enemy body parts in combat
