Use indentation to denote items are stored in/on objects
« on: February 22, 2016, 04:20:43 pm »

Indenting items with a space would make it clear that they are stored in something, rather than on the floor next to that something.
Spoiler: In Fortress mode (click to show/hide)
Spoiler: In Adventure mode (click to show/hide)

Adventure mode's inventory screen already uses indentation to denote what is stored in what.

Extending this to the world view screens will promote consistency between both modes and make explicit what items will be moved if a container is moved.

Toady reads suggestions threads when they fall to the third or fourth page of the forum, "once the thread has settled down". Simply bumping something because you want to +1 it does nothing to help the thread's idea, and it may actually keep it out of Toady's attention.

As for the actual discussion, if it's in the t-screen, it's within. K-screen means without. So this is technically unnecessary.
