The Sorcerer folded her fingers into a tight wad and glared at the necromancer. She gave off an air of not-so subtle disgust as she spoke. "I suppose I should be glad that you're dabbling in mystic arts other than Necromancy, but did you really have to bind your apprentice to a tome Ian?"

The All Knowing Almanac, had been a steal for the price, but only because the last owner had sealed his assistant into the book and locked away half the pages.

Looking at her with a glare of disappointment, "I cannot believe you think I would stoop so low as to seal someone in that state! I mean, yes, I do kill hundreds of thousands of weak humans to feed my legions, but I would not do such a thing to my assistant." He places the Tome beside his tea onto the table and sits down and says casually "My last assistant served his purpose, and when he was no longer of use, he made a nice snack for my legion" as he reaches for, and drinks, his tea.
