I don't shun these plucky folk for not being around for a while and reading the threads, I just think that the least they could do is read the FAQ:

Bottom Line:  If you want to help with a project, you should at least know a lot about it and the developer's goals.   Which is why Zip was asked to help with some saving methods a few months ago.   Zip's been around for ages.  

Anyways, the best most people can do for now is to suggest things in the relevant forum.   (Again, it helps to know enough about the game to not suggest something already in it/the dev notes/a thread posted a day before.   That's just clutter!)
