You're not the only one apparently. Just DL'ed the game and it dropped me into tutorial mode once it was done updating.

Most of it seems to be in; movement, combat, buying and transporting units, capturing buildings, leveling up and healing on bases.

Raptr (From what i gather its a "Facebook for gamers") is offering some free goodies for anyone who installs their app, registers themselves and gets to the "Newbie" rank (pretty much the botttom so playing several games to let the system see you will solve the problem even if you lose all of them).
The package comes with several units and airmechs (Plus one airmech skin) and double XP/credits for 30 days so if someone would want to start playing Airmech now then it would be a good time to do so.

There are also some extra rewards offered to people who attain ranks above newbie... so yeah.

Also personally i think this game needs a RTS mode where the players units are buffed but you get no Airmech to fly around, because i just hate having to pick up every single dumb unit and order it to do something.
A RTS mode would kinda work in 2 vs 2 and 3 vs 3... a less in 1 vs 1.

Had to tell everyone this.

2v2 PvP match, two Saucers (my team) vs. a Striker and a Helix.

We've been playing thirty-five minutes and nobody has made any substantial ground on the other when I suddenly get an idea - a stupid one, but an idea nonetheless.

I head over towards the enemy's fortress, plop myself in a corner with only two missile turrets firing at me, and hold down the left mouse button at the base.
I obviously die pretty soon, so after I respawn I head over there again and repeat.

I swear to you that the enemies both hovered directly over their fortress, definitely within sight range, and neither of them did a thing.

We won.
