I'm actually not choosing where to connect to. I just open AirMech.exe, the splash screen appears and after a while it tells me it can't connect to get the version number or somesuch. Will try the Chrome version!

Chrome version worked :)

Got into a match, got beat up badly, then we started winning, and just as we were getting to the main enemy base, game stops responding. Now it doesn't let me get back into that match. I have a sad now :(

Artillery is severely underwhelming.  I got the "long range" archy because it supposedly boasts longer range, but the range is pathetic.  It's about the distance across your main base - that meaning, if you dropped one against the wall of your fortress, it would be able to fire across the fort and hit the other side.

I swear the T-99 has more range than that...

How would any of you like to organize matches together? Unfortunately, there is no friend system in place yet, but perhaps we could get some games set up?

How do you make your units attack? Mine seem to just stand there...

When you have a unit picked up, there should be a display in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. The buttons for ordering your units around are there.

Minecraft UI is very simple. There's only so many ways you can implement "simple" without copying something. We also gonna complain that it uses WASD?

...Yes? Left clicking one of the 5 buttons will drop the unit immediately and allow it to carry out its orders, while right clicking will give it the order while not dropping it. Alternatively, you can use the keys associated with each command. Pressing Y, for instance, will send your units out to attack.

So that are those things for. Is there a reason the buttons disappear the moment you notice them?
I bet there is some hidden display showing your money as well. As I sometimes couldn't build anything for no apparent reason.

Anyway, I'm a really bad loser so I'm never going to play this again :P.

The money is um, at the top.  You have strange ways to define "hidden".

I have to agree a lot of it is more hidden than it should be. I assumed those numbers in the middle were points, until I started buying units and saw them go down.

Also, bases have these pods attached to them, where you can put units? They also appear to be able to have mines there that generate more income. How do you get those?

Also, can you unlock everything just by playing?

You can unlock all the items by playing.  There's flare and "unit variants" that must be bought, like you can get the UFO, but you have to pay to get the bright purple UFO.  Same stats, different color.  There's also some "ultra" units, like the buggy-thing that shoots missiles.  You can only get these superpowered units by paying cash, BUT you cannot use them in pvp.  You can use them in co-op and single-players, but in pvp it's a level playing field.

The base nodes are for anything that has zero mobility.  When a turret is placed on one, then it will heal automatically.  When a moneymaker is placed, it generates extra income.  There's also utility structures, like one that repairs nearby vehicle and can be installed in a base slot or on the ground, and there's a recharger-thing, which restores HP to your main base OR slows down enemy infantry.

Another thing: how do mines work? I placed like a ton of them in front of my base but the enemy units never seemed to trigger them. Are the only versus player characters?
