The only difference between a human student and a dwarf is that dwarfs have the ability to create and destroy matter.
So will the dwarf with the broken spine recover and use a crutch?

Get a shield and pick/spear. Stab dragon to the head. Enjoy the spoils.

Alternative:
-sneak up until you're only five tiles away
-shoot dragon with bow/crossbow
-once enough bone damage is done, the dragon will give in to pain
-now's your opportunity! Step up and _choke it to death with your bare hands_!

NB: yes, i once did just that.

Find an evil land, look for a cloud of some weird fog, jump in, and become a husk. Go back and beat the dragon to death with your bare hands. And enjoy the Fun of everything in existence, minus undead, wanting to kill you.

Many say that humanity is a naturally good and benevolent race. Obviously, they have yet to meet us.
