Inclined to play, depending on timing.  Alternately, would love to just pick a tiny merchant state or something and play as an 'observer' faction and just watch what's going on and record it.

If I might make a suggestion, though.  The cultural conversion rule already seriously slows things enough that forcing people to take high stewardship characters is somewhat unnecessary.  An alternate rule might be that a high chief can only own one direct province, and any additional provinces must be given to sons only (no nephews, brothers or uncles).  If you don't have enough sons to hold provinces, you can't war to expand your claim.  Granted, concubinage will help alleviate this restriction greatly, but it's still a potent limitation.  Think of it as "super-Gavelkind".

I can't join in because of timezone differences but I look forward to reading about it. Sounds like a fun scenario.  :)

So 5:00 AM my time to 10:00 AM my time? I can play from 5:00 AM to 8:30 AM but my college classes start M-F at 9. Otherwise it'd just be weekends.

Right, given that I've hosted MP games in a smaller circle with Ghaz and other people, I will probably be hosting the game too. I have all the DLCs for the game except for Ruler Designer. (I was asked by Ghaz to take the host role, since I've already have all the ports forwarded and the DLCs and yadda yadda.)

Ideal time for the game would be weekends for me, Friday-Saturday in late afternoon, evening hours (I'm in UK so that would be GMT.) Anything from 7-11PM.

Sorry for the doublepost, but a couple questions: 1) Are we going with Orthodox or Tengri Alans? Or both? And second, for the expansion rules, why not make it so:
1) You can only own one landed title.
2) You can only give landed title to landless members of your dynasty that aren't supposed to inherit anything. (Yeah, temples and cities too. So you need to plan for a few spare members before snatching another province.)
