Fuck yes it is. It's just about my favorite musical anything. If you're into power metal, Rhapsody's 'The Wizard's Last Rhyme' is written around the main theme of the 4th movement of the symphony.

As The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers have been mentioned I figure Leftfield deserve a mention for both Leftism and Rhythm And Stealth.

Underworld's dubnobasswithmyheadman is also an excellent album.

You also might get on with some Sigur Rós. Not really sure what to link here as I mostly listen at a friends house and own none.

Not really in the vein of anything mentioned but Aphex Twin's work is pretty intense stuff. The double disk album Drukqs being a shining example, really not for everyone, though.

Holy crap, I just discovered Europe's albums after The Final Countdown. They went for a lot less synthesizer and took a level in badass. Intense songs:
