It's possible you got a forgotten beast made of fire - those will also burn things up.

It's amazing how dwarves can make a stack of bones completely waterproof and magmaproof.
It's amazing how they can make an entire floodgate out of the bones of 2 cats.

Oh yes it can - when it steps into the water, the water around it will instantly boil away in a cloud of steam.

I really haven't had any FBs made of fire. The three that were down there got ownt by the clowns pretty quickly anyway. It's really weird, though I am enjoying the candy veins that are like 20 Zs down lol.

I have no clue how to upload saves unfortunately.

Probably, your water has a source, Sprin?

I'd have to go back into past messages to make sure I remember my details correctly, but I'm fairly sure that once I had an FB made of fire in one cavern level and and FB make of charcoal in another.  The fire one was burning up the cavern (as described).

More than that, there was actually a (natural) walkable route between the two cavern-layers, due to either an overlap of openings or one of those tunnel passages that you sometimes find yourself revealing.  I was really hoping that the (presumably) flammable one would walk into the enflamed surroundings of the other.  Never happened, as I recall (and I'm sure I would have done, even if the anti-climax that I'm sure it would have been).
